We only collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide you with a high-quality auto-captioning experience.
A. Personal Data
- Phone Number: When you sign up or log into the application, we collect your phone number. This is processed securely via Firebase Authentication to verify your identity, secure your account, and manage your subscription tiers.
B. Media and Audio Data
Audio Recordings (Transient Upload): To generate automated captions, our application extracts the audio track from the video file you choose to edit. This audio track is briefly uploaded to our secure Firebase Storage database and processed using the Deepgram Speech-to-Text API to transcribe your speech.
CRITICAL PRIVACY PROTECTION: The extracted audio is processed transiently. Once transcription is complete and captions are generated, the temporary audio file is immediately and permanently deleted from our cloud storage servers. We do not permanently store, share, or listen to your raw audio or video files.
C. Financial and Billing Information
- Google Play Billing: If you purchase a premium subscription (e.g., Creator Monthly) or add-on packages, the transaction is processed entirely and securely by the Google Play Store billing system. We do not collect or store your payment details (such as credit card numbers or banking information). We only receive a transaction confirmation receipt token to activate your plan in your account.
D. Analytics and Performance Data
- Crash Logs (Firebase Crashlytics): To monitor app stability and fix bugs, we collect anonymous crash logs when the app encounters an error.
- App Usage (Google Analytics for Firebase): We collect basic, aggregated, non-personally identifiable usage data (e.g., app opens, navigation flows, features used) to help us analyze usage trends and improve user experience.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To Provide and Maintain Our Service: Authenticate your account, track your video export quotas, and deliver auto-generated captions.
- To Improve and Optimize Our Service: Debug crashes, analyze app performance, and design new captioning styles.
- To Manage Subscriptions: Verify payment confirmations from Google Play to unlock premium capabilities.
- Security and Moderation: Protect our app from unauthorized access, fraudulent purchases, or abuse.
3. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties. We only share information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our app, under strict security and confidentiality agreements:
- Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Storage, Crashlytics): Used to securely host account databases, manage storage, handle authentication, and track diagnostics.
- Deepgram API: Used to perform state-of-the-art automated speech recognition. Raw audio is processed securely and is not used to train external models.
All data transferred to these services is encrypted in transit using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

We believe you should have full control over your personal data.
A. Data Access and Updates
You can view your current account status, active phone number, and subscription details directly in the application's settings and subscription panels.
B. Requesting Data Deletion
You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data.
- To request deletion: You may contact us at hinglishlyapp@gmail.com (or through our web panel) with a request to delete your account.
- What gets deleted: Upon request, we will permanently delete your phone number, your subscription history, your usage metrics, and delete your document in our databases.
- Transient Data: Since video audio is already deleted automatically immediately after transcription, no media files remain on our servers to delete.
6. Children's Privacy
Our services are not designed for or targeted at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it from our servers immediately.
